aka Jonathan – Botchit’s early DJ career started at university when he played roots and dub at the reggae club from his extensive vinyl collection. He started getting into ambient dub acts such as the Orb and Banco de Gaia and was strongly influenced by Whirl-y-gig at Womad festival and subsequently Megadog. This led to deep immersion into trance, techno and the deeper, tribal side of house. More recently he has discovered the joys of DJ’ing again and, drawing from a range of genres, he strives to feed heads, extend warmth into hearts, and provide fuel for feet for a groove-ridden journey of bass, space, rhythm and celestial energy.
